Replacingthecap
Thecap1ontheendoftheTrackPointpointingstickisremovable.Afteryouusethecapforaperiod
oftime,youcanreplacethecapwithanewone.
Note:TheTrackPointcapusedinyourcomputerhasgroovesaasshowninthefollowingillustration.
EnsurethatyoureplacetheTrackPointcapwithacorrectonethathassuchgrooves.

Checkingthebatterystatus
ThebatterystatusiconintheWindowsnoticationareadisplaysthepercentageofbatterypowerremaining.
Therateatwhichyouusebatterypowerdetermineshowlongyoucanusethebatteryofyourcomputer
betweencharges.Becauseofdifferentuserhabitsandneeds,itisdifculttopredicthowlongabattery
chargewilllast.Therearetwomainfactors:
•Howmuchenergyisstoredinthebatterywhenyoubegintowork.
•Thewayyouuseyourcomputer.Forexample:
