•Keepitawayfromchildren.
Thebatterypackisaconsumablesupply.Ifyourbatterybeginstodischargetooquickly,replacethe
batterypackwithanewoneofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.Formoreinformationonreplacingthe
batterypack,contactyourCustomerSupportCenter.

Donotdrop,crush,puncture,orsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseormishandlingcancause
thebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorameto“vent”fromthebatterypackorRTC
battery.Ifyourbatteryisdamaged,orifyounoticeanydischargefromyourbatteryorthebuildup
offoreignmaterialsonthebatteryleads,stopusingthebatteryandobtainareplacementfrom
thebatterymanufacturer.

Onlyrechargethebatterypackstrictlyaccordingtoinstructionsincludedintheproduct
documentation.

Donotputthebatterypackintrashthatisdisposedofinlandlls.Whendisposingofthebattery,
complywithlocalordinancesorregulationsandyourcompany'ssafetystandards.

ThereisadangerofanexplosioniftheRTCbatteryisincorrectlyplaced.Thelithiumbattery
containslithiumandcanexplodeifitisnotproperlyhandled,ordisposedof.Replaceonlywitha
batteryofthesametype.Toavoidpossibleinjuryordeath,donot:(1)throworimmerseintowater,
(2)allowittoheattomorethan100°C(212°F),or(3)attempttorepairordisassembleit.Disposeof
itasrequiredbylocalordinancesorregulationsandyourcompany'ssafetystandards.
