UsingtheBluetoothconnection
Bluetoothcanconnectdevicesashortdistancefromoneanother,andiscommonlyusedforconnecting
peripheraldevicestoacomputer,transferringdatabetweenhand-helddevicesandapersonalcomputer,or
remotelycontrollingandcommunicatingwithdevicessuchasmobilephones.
Dependingonthemodel,yourcomputermightsupporttheBluetoothfeature.Totransferdatathrough
theBluetoothfeature,dothefollowing:
1.EnsurethattheBluetoothfeatureisenabled.IfyouareusingtheWindows8operatingsystem,the
integratedBluetoothfeatureisenabledbydefault.IfyouareusingtheWindows7operatingsystem,to
enabletheBluetoothfeature,pressF8thenfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.
2.Right-clickthedatathatyouwanttosend.
3.SelectSendTo➙BluetoothDevices.
4.SelectaBluetoothdevice,andthenfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Note:Ifyouusethewirelessfeature(the802.11standards)ofyourcomputersimultaneouslywitha
Bluetoothoption,thedatatransmissionspeedcanbedelayedandtheperformanceofthewirelessfeature
canbedegraded.
Formoreinformation,refertotheWindowshelpinformationsystemandtheBluetoothhelpinformation
system.
UsingtheNFCconnection
NFCisahigh-frequencyandshort-rangewirelesscommunicationstechnology.Dependingonthe
model,yourcomputercomeswithanNFCcard.ByusingtheNFCfeature,youcanestablishtheradio
communicationsbetweenyourcomputerandanotherNFC-enableddeviceoveradistancenomorethana
fewcentimeters.
BeforeyouusetheNFCfeature,ensurethattheNFCfeatureisenabled.ToenabletheNFCfeatureon
theWindows8operatingsystem,dothefollowing:
1.FromtheStartscreen,clickLenovoSettings➙MobileHotspot.
2.IntheEnableNFCarea,slidetotherighttoenabletheNFCfeature.
YoucanusetheNFCfeaturewithNFCsupportedprograms,suchastheLenovoQuickDisplayprogram,
theLenovoQuickControlprogram,ortheLenovoQuickCastprogram.
