If you have already installed the pet door without adapters, remove the pet door
1. Carefully remove the blanking plugs from the holes in the exterior frame.
2. Remove the screws securing the exterior and interior frames.
3. Remove the exterior frame, the interior frame, and the spacer from the opening. Set the frames aside for installation later.
Prepare the door
1. If possible, remove the door from its hinges and place it on a raised, level surface, such as two sawhorses. The interior side of
the door should face up.
2. Locate the cutting template provided with the installation adaptor.
Important: Use the cutting template provided with the installation adaptor, not the one that came with the pet door.
