Sending faxes using an e-mail gateway

Switch to the fax mode.

Load the document.

Make sure the e-mail gateway is “On”.
NOTE: You can also set it “On” by pressing <Advance Functions> repeatedly.

Specify the destination.

Press <Start>.
NOTE: •Tocancelthetransmission,press<Stop>whilethemachineisscanningadocu-
ment. Once the machine starts the transmission, you cannot stop it.
•Whensettingthee-mailgatewayto“On”,thememorytransmissionalwaysworks
regardless of its on/off setting.
