Das DC-Puffermodul der Typenreihe Emparro CAP besitzt im Gehäuseinneren Ultrakondensatoren als
Energiespeicher. Die Kondensatoren werden im Normalbetrieb von einem internen Lader geladen, welcher
von einem externen, geregelten DC-Netzteil versorgt wird. Bei einer Unterbrechung der DC-Versorgung wird
die Energie der Ultrakondensatoren ungeregelt (25,5 - 19V) freigesetzt. Die Last wird vom Puffermodul
gespeist bis die Spannung ≤ 19V beträgt. Die Pufferzeit ist vom Ladezustand der Kondensatoren und dem
Entladestrom abhängig.

? Zu- und Abgangsleitungen müssen ausreichend dimensioniert und abgesichert sein !

? Das Gerät ist ein Einbaugerät. Der Betrieb ist nur in trockenen Räumen zulässig.
? Der zulässige Umgebungstemperaturbereich ist einzuhalten!
? Im Störungsfall empfehlen wir, das Gerät an den Hersteller zu senden.
? Auch lange nach dem Freischalten des Gerätes können noch große Energiemengen im Gerät
gespeichert sein!
? Bei der Demontage des Gerätes muss das Gerät zuerst kontrolliert entladen werden!
? Beim Kurzschließen des Gerätes besteht die Gefahr starker Hitzeentwicklung und Funkenflug!

Das Puffermodul zeichnet sich durch folgende Eigenschaften aus:
? Wartungsfrei durch langlebige Ultrakondensatoren
? Mikrocontrollergestütztes Laden und Entladen der Ultrakondensatoren
? Eingangsspannungsmeldung über potentialfreier Kontakt und LED
Short description
The DC buffer module of the Emparro CAP series is equipped with integrated ultracapacitors for
accumulating energy. During normal operation this capacitor is charged by an internal charger which is
supplied by an external, regulated DC power supply. If the DC supply is interrupted, energy of the
ultracapacitors is released in a unregulated process (25,5V - 19V). The load is supplied by the buffermodul
until the voltage is ≤ 19V. The buffering time depends on the state of charge of the capacitor and discharging
current.
The buffer module shows the following features:

Maintenance-free due to durable ultra capacitors
Safety Instructions

? Nonobservance will cause the loss of any warranty claim!
? Installation, start-up, and maintenance work must be carried out by qualified personnel.
? The relevant VDE regulations, in particular DIN VDE 0100 and EN 60204 have to be observed!
? Incoming and outgoing cables should have the appropriate dimensions and have to be secured

? The unit is designed for building-in. Operation is permitted in a dry environment only.
? The admissible ambient temperature range must not be exceeded.
? In case of failure we recommend to send the unit to the manufacturer.
? Even a long time after the unit was disconnected a great amount of energy may be stored.
? Before disassembling the unit the device have to be controlled and discharged!
? When short-circuiting the device there is a risk of heat development and flying sparks!
