UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
The mowerwasfullyassembledstthefacto(y.
When the mowerwas put In the carton,the
handlewas putinthe storagepo6ition.Toput
the handleintheoper_ng position,followthe
stepsbelow.
1. Removethemowerfromthe carton.
2. Putthe lowerhandle Intheopetutlng posi-
lion (Figure1).
3. Removethe hair pins from the lowerpin,
Attachthe hairpinsto the upper pins.
4. Put the upper handle in the operating
position.Tightenthe knobs.

CAUTION: Be cargul when you fold or
raise the handle. Do not damage the
caldca. A cable thst Is bentwillnot work
correctly. Before you use the unit, re-
place n bent or damaged cable.
5. To ettash the recoil- start gdp to the rope
guide, twist the rope through the rope
guide mounted on the dghtside ofthe han-
dle (Figure 2).
NOTE: If you cannot attach the
recoil- start gdp becausethe rope Istoo
short, hold the angina stop lever
against the handle. Slowly pull the
recoil- start gdp.

HOW TO ADJUST THE HANDLE HEIGHT
The lower handle has two assembly posi-

The mouotlng holes In the lower handle are
offset (Figure 1). To change the hole offset, ro-
tete the lower handle. This will change the
angle of the handle and make the height ofthe
handle higher or lower (Figure 3).
1. Removethe cablatlas thst fasten the con-
trol cablcatothelower handle (Figure 4).
The cable ties can be re- used. To remove
acable tie, pull the tab on the cable tie to
free the cable.
2. Remove the bolto end wlngnuts that fas-
ten the upper handle to the lower handle.
