HOW TO PREPARE THE ENGINE
ENGINE DOES NOT CONTAIN
OIL OR GASOLINE
Seetheenginemonufacturer'sir,atructionsfo_
thetype of gasolineandoilto use.Beforeyou
usetheunit,readtheinformationonsafety,op-
eration,maintenance,and storage.
WARNING: Follow the engine
manufacturer's Insl?ucUons for
the type of gasoline and oll to
use. Always use a safety geso-
line container. Do not smoke
when adding gasoline to the en-
gine. When Inside an enclosure,
do not flu with gasoline. Before
you add gasoline, stop the
engine. Let the angina cool for
several minutes.
IMPORTANT:.'nlls unit Is equippedwith an
Internal combustion engine and must not
be usedon or nearany unlmprovadforest-

Jn the State of California the above Is re-
quired by law (Sentlon 4442 of the Ca,for-
nla Public Resources Code). Other states
may have almnar laws. Federal laws apply
on federal lends. See an Authorized Ser-
vice Center for a spark arrestsr for the
muffler.
FINAL ASSEMBLY
Beforeyou usethe mower, checkthe assem-
blyofthewheels,thehandle,andthecontrols.
Make sure eJIthe fasteners are tight. Make
surethethrottlecoflb'oiand theenginestop le-
verwork correctly.
