Bypass This input bypasses the pre-amp section of the a70.2. It is a home-theater bypass also known as an AV direct amplifier input. It is only for use with an external component that has a volume control (i.e. home theater processor). Select BYPASS using the input selector to activate. Use with Caution: The component connected to this input will be directly connected to the amplifier. Pre Out This output is always active and can be used to connect the a70.2 to a subwoofer or an additional power amplifier.
Using the a70.2 power - on/off Push this button on the front of the a70.2 to turn the unit on. When the a70.2 is on the display will show the input that is currently selected and the volume level. Pushing it again will switch the a70.2 off. ipod Use this input for an iPod, mp3 player, or any device with a mini-plug output. phones Use this input for headphones. When headphones are in use the speaker output is automatically muted.
