INPUTS Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Musical Fidelity M6x ViNYL. The M6x ViNYL is a very high performance, highly accurate phono MM/MC cartridge amplifier in a beautifully designed and executed casework. We set out to make a phono stage without any practical limits. It’s designed in such a way to ensure you cannot overload the input stage or encounter any practical limitations in the output driving capacity during regular use, whether running single-ended or balanced.
MM / MC PHONO STAGE x ViNYL Safety Information This unit is supplied in the U.K. with a mains lead fitted with a moulded 13-amp plug. If, for any reason, it is necessary to remove the plug, please remove the fuse holder and dispose of the plug safely, out of reach of children. It must not be plugged into a mains outlet. The wires in the mains lead supplied with this appliance are coloured in accordance with the following code Green and yellow .................................... Earth Blue ..............
Installation Introduction This unit will deliver the ultimate performance possible from any phono source. Cleaning Before cleaning the unit, switch off power at the mains switch and remove the mains plug from the wall socket. Clean the cabinet and remote-control unit using a moist cloth. Using solvents, white spirit or thinners is not advised, as they could damage the surface finish.

Operation Once the M6x ViNYL unit is correctly wired up, and plugged into mains, the orange STBY led should be lit. In this mode the M6x ViNYL is consuming a minimal amount of power. To switch the unit on, press the Power button (1) on the front of the unit. The blue PWR indicator will light along with the red MUTE indicator. After a few seconds, when it has stabilised, the MUTE function will switch off and the unit is ready for use.

INPUTS Einleitung Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für den Kauf eines Musical Fidelity M6x ViNYL entschieden haben. Der M6x ViNYL ist ein sehr leistungsstarker, hochpräziser Phono-MM / MC-Tonabnehmer Verstärker in einem wunderschön gestalteten und ausgeführten Gehäuse. Wir haben uns vorgenommen, eine PhonoVorstufe ohne praktische Grenzen zu bauen. Sie ist so konzipiert, dass die Eingangsstufe nicht überlastet oder während des regulären Gebrauchs auf praktische Einschränkungen der Ausgangskapazität stoßen kann.
MM / MC PHONO STAGE x ViNYL Sicherheitsinformationen Dieses Gerät wird mit einem Netzkabel, das mit einem 13-Ampere-Stecker ausgestattet ist. Wenn aus irgendeinem Grund der Stecker entfernt werden muss, entfernen Sie bitte den Halter der Sicherung und entsorgen Sie den Stecker sicher außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern. Installation Einleitung Dieses Gerät bietet die bestmögliche Leistung für jede Phonoquelle. Reinigung Schalten Sie vor dem Reinigen des Geräts den Netzschalter aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse und die Fernbedienung mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch. Bedienung Sobald der M6x ViNYL korrekt verkabelt und an das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist, sollte die orangefarbene STBY-LED leuchten. In diesem Modus verbraucht der M6x ViNYL nur wenig Strom. Drücken Sie zum Einschalten des Geräts den Netzschalter (1) an der Vorderseite des Geräts. Die blaue PWR-Anzeige leuchtet zusammen mit der roten MUTE-Anzeige auf. Nach einigen Sekunden schaltet sich die MUTE-Funktion aus und das Gerät ist betriebsbereit.

INTRODUCCIÓN Gracias por adquirir el M6x ViNYL de Musical Fidelity, un previo de phono para cápsulas MM/MC de muy alto rendimiento y gran precisión, albergado en un chasis bellamente diseñado y ejecutado. Presentamos un previo de phono sin límites prácticos. Ha sido diseñado de forma que nos aseguramos de no sobrecargar la etapa de entrada o tener que enfrentarnos a ninguna limitación práctica en la capacidad de salida durante su uso normal, da igual si es en RCA o en balanceado.
INFORMACIÓN DE SEGURIDAD Este aparato se suministra en el Reino Unido con el cable de red con conector de 13A. Si por cualquier razón fuera necesario retirar dicho conector, retire también el portafusibles y guarde el conector, manténgalo fuera del alcance de los niños. INSTALACIÓN Introducción Este aparato le ofrecerá el máximo rendimiento de una fuente de phono. Limpieza Antes de limpiar el aparato, apáguelo y desconéctelo de la alimentación. Limpie el chasis y el mando a distancia con un trapo húmedo. No recomendamos usar disolventes o alcoholes, ya que podrían dañar el acabado de la superficie. Instalación Sitúe el M6x ViNYL sobre una superficie horizontal y estable, donde no corra el peligro de caerse o se vea sometido a vibraciones (como unos altavoces).

Selección MM/MC Pulse el botón MM/MC (2) para conmutar entre cápsulas MM y MC. Carga MM Pulse el botón de carga MM (2) para poder seleccionar entre las opciones de carga MM. IEC Pulse el botón IEC (4) para reducir la salida subsónica del previo de phono causada por la deformación del disco y el murmullo del motor del giradiscos. Gain Pulse el botón +6dB (5) para aumentar la ganancia de salida. Carga MC Pulse el botón de carga MC (6) para poder seleccionar entre las opciones de carga MC.
