SAMPLE SETTINGS
M89 BASS OVERDRIVE
POWER
The MXR Bass Overdrive is
powered by one 9 volt battery
(remove bottom plate to install),
a 9 volt AC Adapter such as the
Dunlop ECB003/ECB003EU or
a power supply such as the
DC Brick
.
DESCRIPTION
• A unique overdrive circuit
designed specically for bass
• Separate clean and drive
controls for tonal versatility
• 100% analog circuitry for rich
warm tone
DIRECTIONS
• Run a cable from your bass
to the Bass Overdrive’s Input
jack and run another cable from
the Bass Overdrive’s Output to
your amplier.
• Set all controls to the 12
o’clock position.
• Turn the effect on by depressing
the FOOTSWITCH.
• Rotate the CLEAN control
clockwise to increase the blend
of preset EQ clean signal or
counterclockwise to decrease it.

• Rotate the VOLUME control
clockwise to increase the
overall volume of the effect or
counterclockwise to decrease it.
• Rotate the TONE control
clockwise for a brighter
tone or counterclockwise
for a darker sound.
• Rotate the DRIVE control
clockwise to increase the
amount of overdrive or
counterclockwise to
decrease it.
