2.5 MicroSD-Karte
Der Mikrocontroller ATmega644P besitzt einen 64 KByte
großen Flash. Dieser kann die Firmware und benutzer-
spezifische Programme speichern. Für die Aufnahme von
Webseiten, Grafiken und Skripten ist dieser Platz aber zu
klein. Das myEthernet bietet deswegen eine Schnittstelle
für die Nutzung von SD-Karten. SD-Karten (Secure Digi-
tal) sind Flashspeicher, die mehrere tausend Male be-
schrieben und unbegrenzt gelesen werden können.
2.5 microSD-card
The microcontroller ATmega644P has a 64 kbyte flash.
This one can save the firmware and user-specific pro-
grams. But to save website, graphics and scripts on it
the place is too small. That’s why the myEthernet offers
an interface to use SD cards. SD cards (secure digital)
are flash storages which can be described several thou-
sand times and read out unbouded.
Da bei der Entwicklung das Ziel war eine kompakte Bau-
größe zu erreichen, ist auf der Platine ein Kartenhalter für
MicroSD-Karten aufgelötet. Die besonders kleine Abmes-
sung von ca. 11 mm x 15 mm x 0,7 mm macht diese Kar-
tenvariante zum optimalen Speicherort bei Geräten mit
geringen Abmessungen.
The goal in the development was to reach a compakt
size. So on the board is soldered on a card holder for
microSD cards. The very small size of 11 millimetre x 15
millimetre x 0,7 millimetre makes it to an optimal
memory location for devices with small sizes.
2.5.1 Formatierung
Die MicroSD-Karte muss eine bestimmte Formatierung
besitzen, damit sie im myEthernet verwendbar wird. Das
Format des Dateisystems ist FAT16, welches eine Unter-
stützung von bis zu 2 GB großen Partitionen mit 8+3 Da-
teinamen hat.
Mit dem Befehl „format
<Volume:> /FS:FAT /q“
kann die MicroSD in der Commandshell eines Windows-
systems formatiert werden.
Ihr Kartenleser mit der MicroSD-Karte ist z. B. mit dem
Laufwerksbuchstaben H: verbunden. Dann wird mit dem
Befehl „C:\format H: /FS:FAT /q“ die Formatierung
ausgeführt.
2.5.1 Formatting
To use the microSD card in the myEthernet it has to
possess a certain formatting. The format of the file
system is FAT16 which supports 2 GB big partitions with
8+3 filenames.
You can format the microSD card in the commandshell
of a windows system with the command „
format
<Volume:> /FS:FAT /q“.
Your card reader with the microSD card is connected
e.g. with the drive letter H: Then the formatting is exe-
cuted with the command „C:\
format H: /FS:FAT
/q“.
Soll die Karte aus dem Windows-Explorer formatiert wer-
den, dann achten Sie auf diese Einstellungen:

eingesetzten SD-Karte ab.
