2.1 Safety and precautionary measures
Do not attempt to disassemble the Device! Any unauthorized disassembly of the Device will
void the Warranty and Service!
Please disconnect the Device from the adapter and mains power supply before use.
The Device is not waterproof. Do not use water or chemicals for cleaning. Never immerse
the Device in any liquid.
For external cleaning, you may use non-woven pads saturated with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol.
If damaged, do not use. Contact the supplier or manufacturer.
The Device includes component parts that may contain environmentally hazardous
substances. Handle waste according to local regulations.
To guarantee the accuracy of measurements, it is recommended that the Device be tested
and calibrated by the manufacturer or authorised sales representative every two years.
The maintenance, calibration or battery replacement can be performed by the
manufacturer or authorised sales representative only.
To ensure reliable measurement results, it is recommended that the user of the Device
take a training session with trainers authorised by the manufacturer.
To ensure reliable measurement results, the user should read the User Manual carefully.
2.1.1 Recommendations for data protection
To guarantee the security and confidentiality of both the Operator and of the Subject being
measured, it is recommended that the usual data protection measures be applied, such as:
ensuring that the Subject’s confidential personal data contained in the Software and in the
Device will not be released to third parties;
storage of the Device in a safe place that is not accessible to unauthorised persons;
deletion the data of the Subject being measured after the measurement results have been
downloaded from the Device (see chapter 3.7.1).
