Application of MyotonPRO
3.1 Quick instructions for use
The measurement process consists of the following steps:
1. Use PC software to Prepare and Upload the Measurement set.
2. To start the measurement, press the ON/NEXT button or click "Measurements" on the
main screen.
3. Select Subject or press "Test" to perform test measurements if needed.
4. Select Pattern.
5. Select "Perform new measurement" or view the results of previous measurements.
6. Place the Probe perpendicular to the skin surface directly on the measurement point above
the Object (eg. muscle).
7. Move the Device towards the skin until the green light is illuminated to indicate the range
of measurement position.
8. When taking measurements, hold the Device gently without gripping it tightly.
9. Keep the Device steady within the range of the measurement position and wait until the
device automatically performs the measurements.
10. If the CV of the results is satisfactory, then save the results by pressing "Next" or "Save".
Otherwise press "Re-Measure" to re-do the measurements.
11. If more than one Subject or Pattern are to be measured, make the appropriate selection
from the "Select next measurement" screen until all measurements have been completed.
12. Press "Finish" when all measurements have been completed.
13. The results can now be downloaded to the PC software for further analysis.
