3.3 MyotonPRO Test mode
The Device and Software allow you to perform test measurements in the Test mode together
with the image of the acceleration graph of the Tissue’s natural oscillation.
Test mode is used for the following:
to study the measuring procedure,
to evaluate the Co-oscillation (see chapter 2.3),
to test that the Device is functioning correctly.
There are two ways to start the Test mode:
on the Device (see chapter 3.3.1),
in Software (see chapter 3.3.2).
The benefits of using the Test mode with the help of Software are:
display of test measuring protocol on the computer screen, printing and saving in JPG
format;
display of the acceleration graphs of the Tissue’s natural oscillation:
a) acceleration graph after signal processing (red line graph),
b) raw signal of the acceleration graph (blue line graph);
the possibility to examine in detail the acceleration graph (zoom-in, fast-forward and
rewind);
the export

of numerical values of processed and raw signals from the acceleration curve
and extrema (curve peaks);
display of others measurement related parameters.
COMMENT If the Test mode is started directly on the Device, the detailed information about the test
measurement is not displayed on the computer screen. The activation of the Test mode in the
Device is used if you wish to obtain a general assessment about the measured tissue results and
the character of oscillation and there is no need to save the results.

The export of the acceleration signal is designed for scientific studies where the calculation of Parameters is
performed manually, outside of the Device.
