 Measurement result – is a result of Measurement series containing five measured
parameters (F, D, S, C, R) calculated according to the Measuring mode;
 Triplescan – a Measuring mode, which contains 3 measurements of any Object and the
Measurement result is calculated based on the median of parameter F;
 Multiscan – a Measuring mode, which may contain between 5 to 100 measurements of any
Object and the Measurement result is calculated as the arithmetical mean of the
Measurement series;
 Measurement set – comprises the Subjects and Patterns selected to be uploaded and
measured;
 Upload – Transfer of the Measurement set by USB or Bluetooth from the computer to the
Device;
 Download – Transfer of the Measurement results by USB or Bluetooth from the Device to
the computer;
 Measuring position – is the range of 3mm (+/-1,5mm) where the Device’s measuring
mechanism is in the correct position;
 CV – Coefficient of Variation;
 Measurement profile – comprises the Object to be measured and its position, orientation
and state (see below);
The Measurement profile contains the following data:
1. Tissue – the group of the Object being measured:
 Muscle
 Tendon
 Ligament
 Other
2. Object – Latin name of the Object being measured;
3. Position – position of the Subject being measured:
 Lying
 Sitting
 Standing
4. Side – the side of the body being measured:
 Left
 Right
 Centre (Axial)
5. Location – location of the measuring point on the Object:
