3.8 Software database management
3.8.1 Creation of a new Software database
You can create a new Software database by accessing the Configuration window located under the
Settings menu (see chapter 4.2.7).
To create a new database, perform the following actions:

1. Open the Software and click the Settings
icon in the main toolbar.
2. In the Settings menu, click on the
Configuration button.
3. In the Database configuration section,
delete the previous database name and
write a new name into the same field.
Example: Delete the database name
MyotonDB.sdf and write a new database
name NewDB.sdf.
Do not delete or change the database location path – C:\Program Files\MyotonPRO\. The
database name must always end with the “.sdf” (e.g. C:\Program
Files\MyotonPRO\NewDB.sdf).
