Why hello there, new friend! Welcome to the Mysa family! Thanks so much for supporting the Mysa Smart Thermostat. The device in front of you is the culmination of years of work by a diverse group of dedicated professionals located in the windy, rocky, but strikingly beautiful city of St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. It was amongst its cramped townhouses that we realized there just wasn’t an acceptable solution for those trying to build a smart home with electric heaters.

EN In the Box • What You’ll Need • Compatibility In the Box Mysa Smart Thermostat works with Mysa Smart Thermostat most 120-240V systems, including 2x Mounting Screws electric baseboards and fan-forced 3x Wire Nuts electric heaters. Mysa is not compatible with in-floor heating or 24V systems. Common 24V systems include forced air, variable speed, heat pump, radiant systems, or fuel types such as natural gas or oil.
EN High Voltage Warning! Installing this product involves handling high voltage wiring. Each step of the enclosed instructions must be followed carefully. To avoid fire, personal injury, or death, turn off your circuit breakers and follow the proper safety precautions before proceeding. UNSURE ABOUT HANDLING ELECTRICAL WIRING? CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN. The installation of the thermostat must comply with the applicable Local and/or National Electrical codes and utility requirements.
EN 1 Getting Started • Install App For the best installation experience, use the Mysa app. Download the Mysa app from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store and create an account or log in to your existing account. Tap on “Install & Support” then “Install” to access our most comprehensive step-by-step guide. So bust out that phone and get ready to meet your Mysa! You’ll find the most up-to-date information through the app as we are constantly updating and improving it based upon customers’ feedback.
EN 2 Getting Started • Warning Turn off power at the circuit breaker that controls your existing thermostat. Double Check - After you turn off the breaker confirm the heater is off by doing the following: - Turn the thermostat all the way up. - Wait 5-10 minutes. - Put your hand near the heater. Make sure no heat is coming through. If you have multiple heaters check each separately. If you are unsure if the power to your heater is off, please contact a licensed electrician.
EN 4 Setup • 240V Connect your Mysa Smart Thermostat using supplied wire nuts: A. B. C. Refer to page 12 for help. Connect Mysa’s white wire to the second phase leg of the circuit - L2 (usually red). Mysa White Second Phase Leg (L2) Connect Mysa’s black wire to the supply Mysa Black Supply Wire (L1) wire - L1 (usually black) coming from Mysa Red electrical panel. Mysa Green Ground/Copper Connect Mysa’s red wire to the load wire (usually black) going to heater. D.

EN 4 Setup • 120V Connect your Mysa Smart Thermostat using supplied wire nuts: A. B. C. Refer to page 12 for help. Connect Mysa’s white wire to the neutral wire - N (usually white). Mysa White Neutral Wire (N) Connect Mysa’s black wire to the supply Mysa Black Supply Wire (L1) wire - L1 (usually black) coming from Mysa Red Load Wire electrical panel. Mysa Green Ground/Copper Connect Mysa’s red wire to the load wire (usually black) going to heater. D.

EN Setup • Using Wire Nuts Introduction to Wire Nuts Those little multi-coloured caps that come in the box with Mysa are called Wire Nuts. You use them to connect 2 or more wires together. But you can’t just toss them on top of already twisted 3/4” wires - there’s a safe and correct way to do it! Connecting Wires - Start by holding the two wires together so that the copper ends are parallel. - Together, slip them into the Wire Nut. - Now, turn the Wire Nut clockwise until it feels secure.
EN 5 Setup • Secure Mysa Unscrew the screw on the bottom of the front plate, but don’t remove it completely! 6 Remove the front plate to your Mysa to access the mounting screws.
EN 7 14 Setup • Secure Mysa Using the supplied screws, mount Mysa to gang box by tightening screws. 8 Connect the front plate to your Mysa. It should easily glide into place.
EN 9 Setup • Secure Mysa Secure the front plate to the Mysa by tightening the screw. Ensure not to over 10 Turn on the power at the circuit breaker that controls Mysa. tighten the screw.
EN 11 Setup • Adding a Thermostat In the Mysa app, tap “Add Thermostat” Mysa will now guide you through the WiFi Did you know Mysa also works with the following Smart Home automation systems and voice pairing process.
EN Support • Symbols & Codes Welcome You’ll see Mysa smile on startup or after successful pairing. Pairing Mode The arrow means Mysa is ready to begin the pairing process. Software Update That spinning rectangle means Mysa is getting a software update from us over the internet. Settings Change Error Codes Error codes have a LETTER/NUMBER format (A1, Z4, B5). Example: H2 - Mysa did not detect a heater load. If you see this, contact support on pg 18 with the specific code shown on Mysa’s display.
EN Support • Troubleshooting Power Cycle Mysa To power cycle, locate the switch on the electrical panel that controls Mysa. Flip that breaker off, wait 15 seconds, and then flip it back on. Reset Mysa This resets the Mysa Smart Thermostat back to its default factory settings and removes any registration information. ? or the Mysa app? Appuyez sur “Installation et Assistance,” puis “Installation” pour accéder notre guide complet, étape par étape. Alors, sortez ce téléphone et préparez-vous à rencontrer votre Mysa.
FR 2 Démarrage • Avertissement ! Couper le courant électrique au disjoncteur qui contrôle votre thermostat existant. Revérifier - Après avoir éteint le disjoncteur, confirmez que le chauffage est éteint en procédant comme suit : - Tournez le thermostat complètement vers le haut. - Attendez 5-10 minutes. - Mettez votre main près du radiateur. Assurez-vous qu’il n’y a pas de chaleur. Si vous avez plusieurs appareils de chauffage, vérifiez chacun séparément.
FR 4 Installer • 240V Installer le thermostat Mysa en utilisant les écrous de fil munis : A. Raccorder le fil noir de Mysa au fil sous tension (noir en général) du panneau électrique. C. Raccorder le fil rouge de Mysa au fil de charge (noir en général) pour le chauffage. D. de fil, consultez page 34. Raccorder le fil blanc de Mysa avec la deuxième phase du circuit, le fil rouge (L2). B. Comment utiliser les écrous Raccorder le fil vert de Mysa au fil de terre (vert ou nu).

Raccorder le fil rouge de Mysa au fil de charge (noir en général) pour le D. Les fils sous tension et les fils de charge ne sont pas interchangeables.

EN Installer • Utiliser les écrous de fil Introduction aux écrous de fil Ces petits bouchons multicolores qui arrivent dans la boîte avec Mysa s’appellent des écrous de fil. Vous les utilisez pour connecter 2 fils, ou plus, ensemble. Mais vous ne pouvez pas simplement les jeter sur des 3/4” fils déjà entortillés - il y a une façon sûre et correcte de le faire ! Connecter les fils - Commencez par maintenant les deux fils ensemble afin que les bouts du cuivre soient parallèles.
FR 5 Installer • Attacher Mysa Dévisser la vis en bas de la façade, mais ne pas la dévisser complètement ! 6 Enlever la façade de votre Mysa pour accéder aux vis de montage.
FR 7 Installer • Attacher Mysa En utilisant les vis munies, monter le thermostat Mysa à la boîte électrique par le serrage des vis. 36 8 Connecter la façade du thermostat Mysa. Il devrait facilement glisser en place.
FR 9 Installer • Attacher Mysa Attacher la façade au thermostat Mysa par le serrage de la vis. Assurez-vous 10 Allumer le courant au disjoncteur qui contrôle Mysa. de ne pas trop serrer la vis.
FR 11 12 Installer • Ajouter un thermostat Appuyer sur « Ajouter un thermostat. » Mysa va vous guider maintenant à Saviez-vous que Mysa se fonctionne avec les suivants systèmes travers le processus de couplage wi-fi.
FR Assistance • Symboles et Codes Bienvenue Vous allez voir le sourire de Mysa dès que le démarrage où après un couplage correct. Mode de Couplage La flèche signifie que Mysa est prête à commencer le processus de couplage. La mise à jour logicielle Ce rectangle tournant signifie que Mysa reçoit une mise à jour logicielle de notre part sur Internet. Changement des réglages Une coche ! Cela va pousser quand vous changez vos réglages dans l’application.
FR Assistance • Dépannage Couper et puis rallumer l’électricité de Mysa Pour faire cela mentionné ci-dessus, trouver l’interrupteur sur le panneau électrique qui contrôle le Mysa. Coupez l’électricité avec cet interrupteur, attendez 15 secondes, puis rallumez l’électricité. Réinitialiser Mysa Remettez le thermostat intelligent Mysa aux paramètres de son état initial et éliminer tous les informations d’enregistrement.
