NOTES:

Your GEM towel warmer is shipped in the "soft-wired" configuration.

IMPORTANT

- The "hard-wired" conversion and installation must be

performed by a licensed electrician, in accordance with local and national

electrical codes.

Figure 1.) Slide extension tube over non-corded bottom of the towel warmer

vertical rail and tighten set screw.

Figure 2.) Shorten the electrical cord to the desired length by cutting off the

plug end of the cord. Be sure to leave enough length to allow for

stripping back the insulation 1/2" and making the connection in

the wall junction box.

Pull the shortened cord through the extension wire tube and

slide the tube over the corded bottom of the towel warmer

vertical rail. Tighten the set screw.

Slide the wall plate over the extension tube.

Locate the center of the wall junction box 3-1/4" below the

center of the bottom mounting bracket.

Make the wire connections in the wall junction box using

appropriate wire connectors.

Mount the towel warmer to the wall and attach the wall plate to

the junction box.

The overall height of the towel warmer will increase by approxi-

mately 2-1/4" with the addition of the hard wire kit.
