1 POWER BUTTON: Press this button or the HTR 6 remote’s [ON] button
to switch ON the VISO TWO. The Standby LED indicator will turn from
amber to blue and illuminate the VFD. Pressing the power button again
or HTR 6’s [OFF] button turns the unit back to standby mode.
Note that when you do choose to switch OFF to standby using the front
panel Power button, the VISO TWO’s memory back-up system will store
channel level, tuner preset, and other settings for several weeks while
the unit is switched o.
Pressing the [OPEN/CLOSE] button on the front-panel or the HTR 6
remotes [ ] button will switch ON the VISO TWO from standby mode
and at the same time open the disc tray.
NOTE
It takes around 10 seconds for VISO TWO to switch to full standby mode
when it is powered OFF from source inputs other than DVD mode. In this
condition, it also takes around 10 seconds for the standby LED to switch
from blue to amber color.
2 STANDBY LED: This indicator will light up amber when the VISO TWO
is in standby state. When the VISO TWO is at ON state, this indicator will
illuminate blue.
3 NAVIGATION AND ENTER BUTTONS: The navigation buttons
[PRESET / ] / [TUNE / ] in conjunction with the [ENTER]
button allows one to navigate the OSD, title and menu options.
In AM/FM/XM mode, use [PRESET / ] to step up or down
between radio presets. “Unused” presets are skipped over. Note that
Presets must have been previously stored. Refer also to the item on
“SETTING RADIO PRESET under “OPERATION - USING THE VISO TWO
– AM/FM/DB/iPod” discussions.
Pressing momentarily the [TUNE / ] button will manually scan the
AM or FM band. Press and hold for more than 2 seconds to search up or
down; the VISO TWO’s tuner will stop at the next suciently strong signal it
encounters. Note that this function, too, “wraps” and will continue searching
up or down from one end of the AM or FM band to the other.
At DVD mode, press [ ] to skip forward or [ ] to skip backward a
track, le or chapter. Press [ / ] during disc playback to select the
desired scanning speed.
4 MENU: Press this button to bring up the DVD disc menu during DVD
disc playback, stop, pause or stop-resume mode. At FM/XM/DAB mode,
the MENU button also functions the same way as that of TUNER MODE
button. See also TUNER MODE description below.
5 DISPLAY: At TUNER mode, toggle this multifunction button to display
at the VFD relevant information of a currently tuned FM, XM or DAB
station.
At CABLE/SAT, VCR or Front source mode, toggle DISPLAY button to
select optical, coaxial audio input or the assigned analog audio input of
the particular source.
When in DVD mode, toggle DISPLAY button to alternatively display the
general disc playback status of the DVD display navigation menu.
6 MEMORY: Use to store tuned stations to the VISO TWO’s preset-
memory locations. Refer also to the item on “SETTING RADIO PRESET
under “OPERATION - USING THE VISO TWO – AM/FM/DB/iPod”
discussions.
7 REMOTE SENSOR: Point the HTR 6 remote control at the remote
sensor and press the buttons. Do not expose the remote sensor
of the VISO TWO to a strong light source such as direct sunlight or
illumination. If you do so, you may not be able to operate the VISO TWO
with the remote control.
Distance: About 23ft (7m) from the front of the remote sensor.
Angle: About 30o in each direction of the front of the remote sensor.
8 VACUUM FLUORESCENT DISPLAY (VFD): Provides visual
information about the unit’s important modes, settings, functions,
status of the current source like disc playback time and other indicators.
9 FM/AM/DB: Toggle this button to select either AM, FM, DAB (Europe
version) or XM (North America version) tuner functions.
