We are engineers. But, above all, we are music
lovers. Everything we do, each decision we make,
is about how we can create the best possible
listening experience - and the world 's most
advanced hi-fi technology .
We've been doing it every single day since our
founder, Julian Vereker MBE (1945 - 2000), built
the first Nairn amplifier in 1973. He was driven by
nothing more than a desire to experience music in
his home as it was when he heard it live.
This is our founding belief, and though the methods
we use to achieve this have and will continue to
change, our ultimate aim will remain - to create a
deeper more immersive music experience.
