To reset the counter indicationto "0000", press the Counter Reset button. Precautions BeforeOperation (1) This deck incorporatesa muting circuit which is active for about 4 seconds after the power was switched on, until all circuits have becomestable. (2) lf the power is switched on while the Timer switch is set to "Rec" or "Play", recordingor playback will start automatically.In order to prevent accidentalerasureof a tape, be sure to set the Timer switch to "Off" when the timer function is not desired.

Maintenance Be careful that the cotton tip does not get caught betweenthe roller and the capstan.
