2. HOW TO PLAY This product is a gun shooting game for one or two players. Insert the specified number of coins to obtain the required credits. After establishing credits, press the Start button to start the game. When the game starts, shoot the enemies that appear on the screen. The players gun can shoot up to eight rounds in succession. 5-1 Removing the Header Assy The Header Assy can be removed to make it easier for the game to be moved through doorways etc. The Header assy has a forward centre of gravity, so it is important that at least two (2) people are used to fit or remove the Header assy. The fitting position of the Header assy is high, and it is important that a means of reaching the height safely, without stretching, is available, (e.g. steps, step stool etc.). 1. Remove the Header Acrylic.
5-2 Adjusting the Level Adjusters 1. When the game is in its final position, lower the four (4) Level adjusters on the Monitor Cabinet, with a spanner, so that all castors are raised from the floor by approximately 5mm. Tighten the lock nuts with a spanner to ensure that the Level Adjusters do not move. Approx.
5-3 Fitting the CD Rom The supplied CD-ROMs are designed for this game only. Do not use them with other games. Do not insert any other CD-ROMs. These may result in malfunction. Always install one CD-ROM to each Game PCB Assy. Note that the tray automatically closes after approximately 10 seconds. 1. Remove the Lower Rear Door from the Monitor Cabinet. 2. 6 ADJUSTMENTS Adjustment or maintenance on this machine should be carried out by qualified personnel only. 6-1 Adjustment Switches The Adjustment switches are located inside the coin door. 1. Service Switch. Press this switch to obtain game credits without incrementing the play meter. 2. Test Switch Slide the test switch ON to enter test mode. Test mode allows testing and the changing of game settings. (Refer to section 6-2 "Test Mode" page 42) 3. Select Up/Down Switch This switch is used to select the test required when in the Test Mode. 4.
6-2 Test Mode 1. Open the coin door and slide the test switch ON. The Menu Screen will be displayed on the monitor. 2. Use the Select Up / Down switch to step through the tests. 3. Activate the required test by pressing the Enter button. Select EXIT in each test to return to the Menu Screen. 4. After testing is completed, slide the test switch to the OFF position to return to normal game mode. The Test Switch must always be in the OFF position for normal game mode.
6-2-1 Coin Options 1. Select COIN OPTIONS on the menu screen to set the game cost and related settings. The following screen is displayed. 2. Using the Select Up/Down switch choose the required item then press the Enter button. 3. Use the Select Up/Down switch to change the setting. 4. Select EXIT and press the Enter button to return to the menu screen. Note:- The price of play on this machine is set within the Cashflow Coin Mech. Ensure that the Game Cost is set to 1 Coin 1 Credit.

Using the Select Up/Down switch choose the required item then press the Enter button. 3. Use the Select Up/Down switch to change the setting. 4. Select EXIT and press the Enter button to return to the menu screen.
6-2-3 I/O Test 1. Select I/O TEST on the menu screen to initialize the guns and to test switches and sensor. The following screen is displayed. 2. Using the Select Up/Down switch choose the required item then press the Enter button. 3. Use the Select Up/Down switch to change the setting. 4. Select EXIT and press the Enter button to return to the menu screen.

If the Service switch is pressed when in the Gun Initialize screen, the following screen is displayed. 1P GUN INITIALIZE AIM AT CENTRE OF THE CROSS AND PULL 1P GUN TRIGGER Aim the 1P gun at the cross in the centre of the screen and pull the trigger. The screen will revert to showing a cross in the centre of screen. Repeat the above procedures with the 2P gun. When the 2P gun has been aimed and fired on the screen above, the screen will display the GUN INITIALIZE screen. Recheck that both guns are aiming correctly.

7. MAINTENANCE Adjustment or maintenance on this machine should be carried out by qualified personnel only. Ensure that the POWER to the machine is turned OFF before commencing any maintenance work. 7-1 Removing the Front Glass 1. Loosen only 6off security screws (M5x20) to allow the Play Panel to move forward slightly. 2. Remove 2off pozi head screws (M5x12) and remove the Retaining Bracket. 3. Remove the Front Glass by tilting it forward from the top and then lifting it out. Front glass Retaining bracket Pozi head screw (M5 × 12) Security screw (M5 × 20) Control panel Assy 4. Reassemble in reverse order.
7-2 Replacing the Mirror 1. Remove the rear door from the Monitor Cabinet. 2. Remove 4off pozi head screws (M5x20), with flat and spring washers, and remove the Mirror Stopper. 3. Lift the bottom edge of the mirror and slide the Mirror diagonally downwards to remove. Mirror Fit the mirror with the label in this position (upper face). Mirror stopper Pozi head screws (with flat and spring washers) (M5 × 20) 4. Reassemble in reverse order.
7-3 Replacing the Fluorescent Tube or Starter 1. Remove 2off pozi head screw (M5x12) and remove the Retaining bracket. 2. Remove the Header Acrylic Pozi head screws (M5 × 12) Retaining bracket Header acrylic 3. Replace the Fluorescent Tube or Starter. Starter 4. Fluorescent lamp Reassemble in reverse order.
7-4 Replacing the Camera Assy 1. Remove 2off pozi head screws (M5x12), lift the Camera Assy sufficient to disconnect the connectors and remove the Camera assy. Pozi head screws (M5 × 12) Camera Assy Connectors 2. Remove 2off pozi head screws (M2x30) and remove the CCD Camera. CCD camera (Note direction) Pozi head screws (M2 × 30) Connector Camera filter (Note direction) 3. Reasemble in reverse order. Note: Always reinitialize the guns if the camera has been removed or replaced.
7-5 Removing the Play Panel Assy 1. Remove 6off security screw (M5x12), with flat washer, and lift the Play Panel Assy. Security screws (M5 × 20) Flat washer (M5) Play panel Security screws (M5 × 20) 2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the Play Panel Assy. Play panel Connector 3. Flat washer (M5) Reassemble in reverse order.
7-6 Replacing the Start Switches 1. Remove the Play Panel Assy. (see 7-5 page 64) 2. Remove the Switch Assy by pulling it out of the Switch Body. Play panel back 1P side Microswitch Violet N.O 2P side Microswitch COM Black Faston terminals Whi/Vio N.O COM Black Faston terminals 3. Replace the Switch. When replacing the switch, note which wires are on which terminals. 4. Refit the Switch Assy to the Switch Body by pushing the Switch Assy fully into the Switch Body.
7-7 Replacing the Gun Assemblies 1. Remove the Play Panel Assy. (See 7-5 page 64) 2. Disconnect the connector. 3. Remove 2off Whizz nuts (M4) and remove the Rope Loop 4. Remove 2off Whizz nut (M6) and remove the Gun Assy by lifting the Gun Cover up from the Play Panel. Note: There is a star washer and Earth terminal fitted on the 1P position.
7-7-1 Removing the Gun Covers 1. Remove the Play Panel Assy. (See 7-5 page 64) 2. Remove the Gun Assembly. (See 7-7 page 66) 3. Remove 1off socket head screw (M4x25) and 1off dome head nut (M4). 4. Remove 2off socket cap screws (M3x10) and remove the Gun Cover (R) 5.
7-7-2 Separating the Gun Body 1. Remove the Play Panel Assy. (See 7-5 page 64) 2. Remove the Gun Assembly. (See 7-7 page 66) 3. Remove the Gun Covers (See 7-7-1 page 67) 4. Remove 40ff socket head screw (M4x10), 4off dome nut (M4). 1off socket head screw (M4x25), 1off socket cap screw (M3x10) and remove the Gun Body (R).
7-7-3 Replacing the Trigger Switch 1. Remove the Play Panel Assy. (see 7-5 page 64) 2. Remove the Gun Assembly. (See 7-7 page 66) 3. Remove the Gun Covers (See 7-7-1 page 67) 4. Seperate the Gun Body. (See 7-7-2 page 68) 5. Replace the Trigger Microswitch. Trigger switch (Yellow) N.O. terminal (Black) COM. terminal Note: Ensure that the correct wires are fitted to the correct switch terminals when refitting the Trigger Microswitch.
7-7-4 Replacing the Gun Cable 1. Remove the Play Panel Assy. (See 7-5 page 64) 2. Remove the Gun Assembly. (See 7-7 page 66) 3. Remove the Gun Covers (See 7-7-1 page 67) 4. Seperate the Gun Body. (See 7-7-2 page 68) 5. Remove 2off socket head screw (M4x10) and remove the Connector Cover. 6. Disconnect the terminals from the Trigger Switch. 7. Disconnect the Gun PCB connector. 8. Remove 1off socket head screw (M4x10) and remove the Gun Cable.
7-8 Replacing the Monitor 1. Remove the Mirror. (see 7-2 page 61) 2. Remove the Monitor Mask by sliding it out. Monitor mask 3. Remove 4off pozi head screws (M6x16), with flat and spring washers. and remove the Monitor. Pozi head screws (M6x16), with flat and spring washers. Monitor 4. Reassemble in reverse order.
