5-1 Adjusting the Level Adjusters 1. When the game is in it’s final position, lower the five (5) level adjusters, with a spanner, so that all castors are raised from the floor by approximately 5mm. 6-1 Adjustment Switches The Adjustment Switches are located inside the coin door. 1. Enter Switch. Press this switch to select options in the Test Mode. 2. Test Switch. Slide this switch ON to enter the test mode. Test mode allows the testing and changing of game settings. (refer to section 6-2 “Test Mode” page 38) 3. Select Up/Down Switch This switch is used to step through the test options and to alter the option settings.
6-2 Test Mode 1. Slide the Test Switch ON. The ‘Test Mode Menu’ screen will be displayed. 2. Use the Select Up/Down switch to select the required item. 3. Press the Enter Switch to enter the required test. 4. When all tests and adjustments have been completed slide the Test Switch OFF to return to normal game mode. 6-2-1 Coin Options 1. Select ‘COIN OPTIONS’ from the test mode menu and press the Enter Switch. The following screen will be displayed. 6-2-7 Sound Test 1. Select ‘SOUND TEST’ from the test mode menu and press the Enter Switch. The following screen will be displayed. SOUND TEST LEFT CENTRE RIGHT SONG: 01 PLAY EXIT SELECT : SELECT SW UP/DOWN ENTER : ENTER SW 2. Use the Select Up/Down switch to select SONG, then press the Enter Switch. Use the Select Up/Down switch to change the song number. Press the Enter switch to return to item select mode. 3. Use the Select Up/Down Switch to select PLAY.
6-2-8 Cashflow Test 1. Select ‘CASHFLOW TEST’ from the test mode menu and press the Enter Switch. The following screen will be displayed. CASHFLOW TEST £0.10 : 000 £0.20 : 000 £0.50 : 000 £1.00 : 000 £2.00 : 000 EXIT: ENTER SW & SELECT SW UP/DOWN 2. Each time a coin is inserted through the Cashflow, the corresponding display will increase by 1. All numbers will return to 000 when exiting from this test. 3.
6-2-10 Initialize and Payout Setting 1. Select ‘INITIALIZE & PAYOUT SETTING’ from the test mode menu and press the Enter Switch. The following screen will be displayed. 6-2-11 Gun Initialize 1. Select ‘GUN INITIALIZE’ from the test mode menu and press the Enter Switch. The following screen will be displayed. P1 GUN INITIALIZE CHANGE GUN : SELECT SW UP/DOWN ADJUST GUN : ENTER SW EXIT : ENTER SW & SELECT SW UP/DOWN 2 Use the Select Up/Down Switch to select Player 1 or Player 2, then press the Enter Switch. The following screen will be displayed. P1 GUN INITIALIZE AIM AT CENTRE OF THE CROSS AND PULL GUN TRIGGER EXIT : ENTER SW & SELECT SW UP/DOWN 3.
4. Aim the gun at the “+” and pull the trigger. The “X”should overlap the “+”. Move the gun around the screen, without pulling the trigger, and ensure that the “X” overlaps the “+” when aiming at the “+”. If adjustment is OK, press the Enter Switch. Repeat the procedure for the other gun. If setting is not correct repeat the procedure. 5. Press the Select Up/Down switch and the Enter Switch together to return to the Test Mode Menu screen.

7 ERROR MESSAGE This screen appears if insufficient winning coins are paid. Also all display lamps will light and blink. PAYOUT ERROR £3.00 Please call an attendant This error will be recorded in the “PAYOUT ERROR HISTORY” log. (see Test Mode 6-2-12 page 50) If the Payout Error Message has been set to AUTO RESET, (see Test Mode 6-2-10 page 47), the Error Message Screen will return to the normal Attract Mode screen after 10 minutes.

Lift the Play Panel only sufficient to reach the connectors, and disconnect the connectors. 4. Remove the Play Panel. 5. Reassemble in reverse order.
8-2 Replacing the Start Lamp / Switch 1. Remove the Play Panel. (see 8-1 page 54) 2. To remove the Microswitch, disengage the lug of the long retaining arm from the switch, lift the front of the switch up, and remove from the switch holder. Microswitch Long retaining arm Lug 3. To replace the lamp, twist the Lamp/Switch assy counterclockwise and remove from the Switch Body. Remove the lamp by pulling it straight out from the Lamp Holder 4. Reassemble in reverse order.
8-3 Replacing the Gun Assy 1. Remove the Play Panel. (see section 8-1 page 54) 2. Disconnect the connectors. 3. Remove 2off Whizz nuts (M6), and remove the Earth wires. 4. Remove the Gun Assy complete with gun cable and connector cover assy. Gun Assy Connector cover Play panel Earth terminal Whizz nut (M6) Rear side of play panel 5. Replace Gun Assy in reverse order. Ensure that the Earth wires are reconnected and fully secure.
8-4 Removing the Gun Slides 1. Remove 4off socket head screws (M3x10). Remove 1off button head screw (M4x25), taking care not to lose the M4 nut in the Gun Slide (L). 8-5 Removing the Gun Cover. 1. Remove the Gun Slides. (see section 8-4 page 57) 2. Lay the gun down on its left hand side. Button head screws (M4x10) Remove 4off button head screws (M4x10), 1off button head screw (M4x25) , and 1off socket head screw (M3x10). Take care not to lose any of the nuts in the left hand Gun Cover.
8-6 Replacing the Gun Solenoid 1. Remove the Gun Assembly. (see section 8-3 page 56 Replacing the Gun Solenoid Assy) 2. Remove the Gun Slides. (see section 8-4 page 57) 3. Remove the gun covers. (see section 8-5 page 58) 4 Disconnect the solenoid connector. 5. Remove 1off cap bolt (M3x10) and remove the solenoid bracket. Solenoid Cap bolt (M3x10) Solenoid bracket Connectors Ground terminal Toothed lock washer Cup screw (M) (M3x8) 6. Remove 1off cup screw (M3x8) and detach the ground wire.
8-7 Replacing the Gun Cable 1. Remove the Gun Assembly. (see section 8-3 page 56) 2. Remove the Gun Slides. (see section 8-4 page 57) 3. Remove the gun sides. (see section 8-5 page 58) 4. Detach the solenoid bracket, connector and ground wire. (see section 8-6 page 59) 5. Disconnect the sensor and detach the fast-on connectors from the micro switch. 6. Remove the button bolt (M4x10) fixing the conduit to the gun cover (L). 7. Remove 2off button bolt (M4x10) and remove the connector cover.
8-8 Replacing the Fluorescent Tube and Display Lamps 1. Remove 2off security screw (M5x25) and remove the Acrylic Retaining Bracket. Security screw (M5x25) Acrylic Retaining Brkt Display Acrylic 2. Remove the Display Acrylic. 3. Replace the Fluorescent Tube or Starter. 4. Remove the Wedge Lamps by pulling them straight out from the holder, and replacing them by pushing them into the holder. Lamp Holder Fluorescent Tube Starter Wedge Lamps (12v 5w) 5. Reassemble in reverse order.
8-9 Removing the Monitor 1. Remove 4off wood screws and remove the Monitor Cover Door from the rear of the cabinet. 2. Disconnect the connectors from the Monitor. Connectors 3. Loosen only 4off security screw retaining the Bottom Glass Bracket. 4. Remove 3off security screw, and remove the Top Glass Bracket. Note: Take care that the glass does not fall forward when removing the Top Glass Bracket.
5. Remove the Monitor Glass by tilting it forward at the top, and withdrawing it upwards from the Bottom Glass Bracket. Monitor glass 6. Remove the Screenprinted Monitor Surround. 7. Remove 4off hex head screws (with washers), and remove the Monitor from the front of the cabinet. Hex head screws Hex head screws 8. Reassemble in reverse order.
