Physical set up of your Downlights
For Your Safety:
● This should be installed by a qualified electrician.
● Make sure the wall switch in the room you’re setting up your downlight in is
turned OFF.
● Turn OFF the power to the room at the main electrical panel or breaker box
before installation.
Step 1: Cut a Hole in the Ceiling
Plan and mark out your light placement before drilling or cutting any holes. Be careful not
to cut any wires hidden in the ceiling. If you are unsure, please work with a qualified
electrician.
For the 4” Downlight: Cut out a hole with a circle diameter of 4-¼” (108mm)
Option A
Use a drywall saw to follow the circle outline and cut out an opening for your downlight.

Use a power tool to make your cuts and save time
