In preparation for maintenance, always disconnect the power.
Allow the appliance to cool before performing any cleaning, maintenance, or relocation of the appliance.
Turn controls to off and remove plug from outlet. Alternatively, turn off the house circuit breaker to appliance
receptacle.
Do not install replacement lamps that exceed specified maximum watts.
The halogen lamps in this appliance can become extremely hot. Allow at least 10 minutes between turning off
the appliance and removing the lamps to avoid accidental burns.

WARNING
This hand-held remote control must remain within 5 meters (17 feet) of the appliance to be effective. This
range may be reduced when battery power is depleted.
note:
1. To replace the existing battery, remove the battery
holder.
2. To remove the battery holder, turn the remote onto
the front side and press the left side lever towards
the center while pulling the battery holder out using
the slot provided (FIG. 1).
3. Replace existing battery (type CR 2025) with a new
battery and reinstall the battery holder onto the
remote by sliding it into position.
4. Battery cover will ‘click’ into remote control until
secure.

9.1 remote battery installation
This remote control requires button batteries that are hazardous to young children.
WARNING - KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
Swallowing may lead to serious injury in as little as 2 hours or death, due to chemical
burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.
If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a button battery, immediately seek
urgent medical assistance.
Examine devices and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured, e.g. that the screw or other
mechanical fastener is tightened. Do not use if compartment is not secure.
Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely. Flat batteries can still be dangerous.
Tell others about the risk associated with button batteries and how to keep their children safe.
