- To listen to FM radio in the background touch the back key and
you will be returned to the phone menu and can use other
applications while you listen to the radio.
13. Settings
To access the radio, touch the Application tab from the Home
screen, then touch Settings.
13.1 Network & Internet
- Wi-Fi: You can access the internet on your phone using Wi-Fi if
you are in range of a wireless network. You need to connect
your device to a wireless network to enable this. For instructions
on how to set-up and use Wi-Fi please refer to 5. Wi-Fi.
- Mobile network
Mobile data: touch to enable mobile data.
Roaming: touch the switch to enable data services when
roaming.
App data usage: allows you to monitor and set a data limit for
your phone. Your phone will turn off data when you reach the
limit you have set. Note data usage is measured by your phone.
Your network operator may measure it differently.
Mobile data always online: touch to switch on or off.
Data warning & limit:Set the size of the data, exceed the alarm,
limit the flow.
4G calling:touch to switch on or off 4G calling.
Preferred network type: Select the required network.
Automatically select network:The system automatically selects
the network.
Access Point Names:Add, delete and modify operation APN.
- Airplane mode: This mode disables all wireless connections in
your phone including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Cellular.
- Hotspot & tethering: This option allows the sharing of your
phone’s mobile data connection via USB or Bluetooth.
- VPN: Virtual Private Networks (VPN) allow you to connect to a
secure local network from an external network. To add a VPN
touch Settings > Network & internet > VPN then touch.
13.2 Connected devices
- Bluetooth: this function enables your phone to exchange data
with other Bluetooth supported devices. Please refer to section
6. Bluetooth on how to set-up and use Bluetooth.
- Printing: Your phone supports wireless printing to enabled
printers. Use the Default print service or add print service.
13.3 Apps & notifications
With this setting, you can view detailed information about the
applications installed on your phone, manage application
notifications, default applications, permission management, and
so on.
13.4 Battery
This screen displays battery usage data since the phone was last
connected to a power supply. You can set it to show battery
percentage usage in the status bar, set the phone screen to sleep
after inactivity, and choose whether to enable power saving
mode.
