6.6.5 PLAY Button
The  PLAY  button  starts/stops  the  playback  of  the  Loop  Recorder—provided  of  course  that
something has  been  recorded  into  it.  When  playback  is stopped,  the  playback  position  skips
back to the loop beginning.
Playback is also  automatically triggered while overdubbing: the currently recorded material is
played while a new layer is being recorded.
6.6.6 Copying and Saving the Recorded Loop
Once you have recorded a loop, you sure can leave it in the Loop Recorder and mix it with your
main mix using  the DRY/WET knob  as described  above.  But you  can also copy  it to  any  free
slot on a Remix Deck and use all Sample-related features on your recorded loop.
To copy a recorded loop to an available Remix Slot:
1. In TRAKTOR, select Loop Rec as the Capture Source on the Remix Deck.
2. Press an available REMIX SLOTS button to copy the recorded loop to the corresponding
Remix Slot.
6.7 Browsing, Loading and Copying
Your S4 offers various ways for finding tracks and Samples and loading them on to the desired
Decks or Sample Slots:
▪ You can quickly load tracks and Samples from the currently selected Playlist or from your
Favorites.
▪ You can browse the entire content of your Track Collection for tracks and Samples via the
Browse mode.
▪ You can copy a Sample directly from the track loaded on the upper Deck.
▪ You  can  copy  a  track  or  Sample  from  one  location  to  another  on  your  S4  via  the  Copy
mode.
