If this port is enabled as a MIDI Output in your application, MIDI templates may not synchronise
with your keyboard. Your keyboard will still operate as intended when this output port is disabled.
The MIDI Input port must be enabled.
DAW Setup
If you want to use your MIDI templates in a DAW, you will also need to disable the MIDI Output
ports in the DAW's MIDI settings:
1. Open your DAW.
2. Navigate to the MIDI Preferences.
3. Ensure the MIDI Output ports are disabled
4. Ensure that the MIDI Inputs for your keyboard are enabled.
The following section guides you through the process of assigning MIDI messages to control ele-
ments using the MIDI Assignment editor. It also makes you familiar with the mapping system and
gives you the reference information of MIDI message types and assignments.
When using the MIDI Assignment editor, all keyboard controls (i.e. navigation, trans-
port, etc.) are blocked.
