7 KOMPLETE KONTROL Smart Play
One of the most powerful and creative features of KOMPLETE KONTROL is Smart Play. It al-
lows you to play chords and arpeggiated note sequences according to a vast amount of selecta-
ble scales and other parameters. You can even generate chords by selecting sets of harmoniz-
ers to add onto the notes you play, effectively making chords out of single notes. The Smart
Play functions are available in the KOMPLETE KONTROL Perform Panel or can be accessed
via the PERFORM section on the far left of the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-SERIES keyboard and
edited in the central Control section (see section ↑7.2, Keyboard PERFORM Section Overview).
Additionally, the Light Guide directly above the keybed (see section ↑5.7, The Light Guide) in-
dicates what keys are active or inactive in a selected scale or chord mode.
