In stand-alone mode, you can also show/hide the Perform Panel from your computer
keyboard via the [P] key.
Perform Panel Button States
The four states of the Perform Panel button indicate whether the engines are active or inactive
and also whether the Perform Panel is open or not.
When the Perform Panel is hidden and inactive, the Perform Panel button is grayed out.
When the Perform Panel is open but engines are inactive, the Perform Panel button lights
up white and displays a white panel at the bottom of the button.
When the Perform Panel is open and one or both engines are active, the Perform Panel
button lights up blue and displays a play symbol as well as a blue panel at the bottom of
the button.
