Assembly Part 1 Fi ing the Fan Typical installations include placement in a basement or gable. Instructions are shown below for these two sample installations. s the fan may be installed in any number of locations, these instructions are provided as a general guide. Part ounting the Solar Panel Choose the optimal location for the solar panel. The fan is powered by the solar panel and will run only when the solar panel is receiving ade uate sunlight. For this reason, the optimal location for the solar panel will be where it can receive the ma imum amount of sunlight during the day, with the little or no shade. The solar panel is secured with all four screws in the package.

Positive to positive, negative to negative. Ensure tight connections, then replace the cover on the connection box. onnect the solar panel cable to the fan connection cable.
Maintenance The solar panel re uires no maintenance e cept occasional cleaning and replacement of damaged or worn parts. Solar panel may be cleaned by wiping with a clean damp cloth. o not use soap or solvents. se only identical replacement components.
