Care and Cleaning
Natures Composites remains committed to delivering a low maintenance product to its customers.
However, the location of your product means that dirt, scratches, oil and grease spills, mold and
mildew can build up over time. Below are several recommended solutions to care for your product.
Dirt (including rust and grime)
Clean product using hot water, a soft brush and a mild detergent. Deck brighteners and cleaners can
be used if hot water is not enough.
*Use of some cleaners can lighten or change the surface appearance of your product. Always test by
applying in an inconspicuous area on the product to determine what effects it will have on the product
or contact us for a list of recommended products.
Scratches
A scratch or scuff will fade over time (approximately 10 – 15 weeks). Never sand product as it will
change the surface appearance of the product.
Oil & Grease Stains
Rinse with hot water immediately.
Mold and Mildew
Spring and fall cleaning of your product prevents the buildup of mold and mildew. Clean your product
using the above recommendations for removing dirt.
Pressure Washers
Use of a pressure washer to clean your product is not recommended. Use of high pressure spray and
in close proximity with Natures Composites products can damage the surfaces and void the warranty
Disposal
Natures Composites’ products can be disposed with normal construction and household waste in
accordance with local regulations. Never burn Natures Composites products.
