The following options are available:
•
Reboot:
Allows for rebooting of the AUI or the exciter (active or standby, as applica-
ble) (see Rebooting the AUI or Exciter on page 2-100). There is also a host reboot func-
tion, available through the front panel UI (see Host Reboot on page 2-112).
•
Upgrade Software:
Allows for uploading software upgrade files for various transmitter
sub-systems (e.g., Controller, Exciter, etc.) (see Upgrading Software on page 2-101).
•
Audio Input Calibration:
Allows for calibration of analog and MPX audio inputs (see
Calibrating Audio Inputs on page 2-102).
•
IBOC Settings
: Allows users to establish Forward Tap Delay, FM+HD Low Inj Gain,
FM+HD High Inj Gain and HD only system Gain levels (see IBOC settings - VSHD
only on page 2-103). This option only exists when operating with VSHD.
•
Spectrum/Efficiency Optimizer:
Allows users to optimize the transmitter’s spectrum
and/or efficiency (see Spectrum/Efficiency Optimizer on page 2-104). This option
only exists when operating with VSHD.
•
Exciter TCXO:
Allows for calibration of the internal clock reference to an external
10 MHz clock or manually entered based on an off-air frequency measurement (see
Calibrating Audio Inputs on page 2-102). Can also be done locally.
•
FM Polarity
: Allows users to set the polarity for frequency modulation (see FM Polar-
ity on page 2-109).
