Site Control Settings
You can use the AUI’s
Site Control
page (see Figure 2.144) to locally or remotely configure
remote inputs and outputs for use with external site control equipment (air conditioner, etc.).
This page allows the user to create and configure custom inputs and outputs and assign them
for use using the
Remote Inputs
and
Remote Outputs
pages.
To view this page, select
Remote I/O
from the
Menu
options and select the
Site Control
tab.
Press
X
in the upper, right corner to close this page and return to the
Home
page.

Adding or Editing a Site Control Rule
Selecting the
Add
or
Edit
button displays the rule editing window (see Figure 2.145 on page 2-
170) for site control inputs and outputs. This window allows you to create a new site control
rule or edit an existing one. Each custom input or output can be assigned a name, severity level
and trigger parameters (active state and time delay). Each rule can also be set to latch (i.e.,
requiring a reset) or log with the rest of the transmitter’s alarm and status signals, upon its
occurrence. You can use Boolean logic expressions to perform ‘AND’, ‘OR’ and ‘XOR’
(exclusive OR) functions on multiple inputs or rules.
