Optimizing HD Parameters from the Front Panel UI
From the front panel UI, you can enable and configure various HD signal parameters (e.g.,
injection level, TPO, etc.) in an attempt to optimize the digital signal’s overall efficiency. To
view the HD Optimizer screen, select User Settings ► HD Optimizer from the Main Menu.
This menu has five sub-menu options (see Figure 3-15):
• Enable
• Reduce Inj
• Reduce TPO
• Desired Delta
• Required Delta

Use the up and down buttons to move the cursor to the desired setting and then press the
right button to enable editing of the setting. Figure 3-16 shows the editing screens for the HD
Optimizer menu. Within any of the editing screens, use the up and down buttons to edit a
setting. Press the accept (checkmark) button to save the change. Press cancel (X) to discard
changes and return to the previous menu.
