PushENTER/RESETtomakeyourselectionofaUserprofile.Youcanusethe▲and▼keystolookattheworkoutdataforthatUser
(ifavailable)orgotoadifferentprogram.ToerasetheUserprofileandworkouthistory,pushtheCOURSES/PROFILESkey.
1.PushENTER/RESETtostartUserSetup.
Note:AftereachstepinUserSetup,youcanpushtheENTER/RESETkeytogotothenextdataiteminthe
Userprofile,orpushtheQUICKSTARTkeytogotoWorkoutMode.
2.TheProgramDisplayshowsSELECTUSERAGEandtheTIMEdisplayflashes30(defaultage).Use
the▲and▼keystoadjusttheAgevalueandpushtheENTER/RESETkeytorecordyourselection.
Theavailablerangeis13–70.
3.TheProgramDisplayshowsSELECTUSERHEIGHTandtheTIMEdisplayflashes5:07(5ft7in.)or
179cm.Usethe▲and▼keystoadjustthedefaultHeightvalueandpushtheENTER/RESETkeyto
recordyourselection.Theavailablerangeis4:03–6:07(130–240cm).
Note:IfyouchangetheHeightorSexvalueforaUserprofilethatalreadyhasworkoutdatasaved,the

4.TheProgramDisplayshowsSELECTUSERWEIGHTandtheTIMEdisplayflashes150or70(default
weight).Usethe▲and▼keystoadjusttheWeightvalueandpushtheENTER/RESETkeytorecordyour
selection.Theavailablerangeis50–400lb(23–180kg).
5.TheProgramDisplayshowsSELECTUSERSEXandtheTIMEdisplayflashesM(“male”—default).
Usethe▲and▼keystosetthedisplayvaluetoF(female)orM(male)andpushtheENTER/RESET
keytorecordyourselection.
6.TheProgramDisplayshowsthefirstprogramnameintheProgramSelectionmenu.Refertothe
ProgramSetupsectioninthismanual.
WorkoutMode
TostartyourworkoutprogramfromProgramSetuporUserSetupmode,pushtheQUICKSTARTkey.Theprogramwillusethe
datavaluesthatyousetduringsetup.Ifmoredataisnecessaryfortheprogramtocalculateworkoutresults,itwillusedefault
valuesforthatdata(ex:Age=30).
WhenyoupushtheQUICKSTARTkey,theconsolegoesintoWorkoutModeandthetimecountsdownfor3seconds.TheProgram
Displayshows3–2–1andthebuzzermakesa“beep-beep-beep”sound.Thentheworkoutprogramstartstooperate.IfnoTime
valueisset,theTIMEdisplaycountsdownfrom24:00(default).DISTANCEandCALORIEScountupfromzero.
Thebuzzermakesa“beep”soundattheendoftheworkoutperiod.TheLCDshowstheworkoutdataforapproximately30seconds.
Thedatadisplaysshowaveragespeed,totaltime,totaldistanceandcaloriesforthisworkoutonly.TheProgramDisplayshowsEND.
TheconsolegoesbacktoReadyModeautomaticallyafter30seconds,oryoucanpushanykeytogobacktoReadyMode.
PausingtheWorkout
Topausetheworkout,pushtheSTOPkey.Tostarttheworkoutagain,pushtheQUICKSTARTkey.
Whentheworkoutispausedandthereisnoactivityfor5minutes,theconsolegoesbacktoReadyModeandnoworkoutdatais
saved.
