Fitting the antenna to the pedestal
1. Remove the protective cap from the pedestal and the protective label on the antenna that
protects the wave guide.
 Note: The protection label and waveguide cover is in place to prevent contaminants from
entering the waveguide. These covers MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO INSTALL-
ING THE ANTENNA TO THE PEDESTAL.
 Note: An antenna Sealing Ring is located under this label in the antenna waveguide chamber.
Ensure the Sealing Ring remains in place prior to installing the antenna to the pedestal.
2. Carefully lower the antenna on to the pedestal. The antenna can only  t one way
3. Place a  at washer then a spit washer followed by a dome nut on to each of the four antenna
studs. Tighten the dome nuts to 15 N·m or (11 lb·ft)
