Traffic Flow Severity Indicators

The color of the severity indicator reflects the impact of the traffic occurrence on traffic

flow:

Event or Incident Icons

On the Traffic Information window, the following icons are used to represent traffic

events or incidents:

Red Heavy traffic, expect delays.

Yellow Slow moving traffic.

Green Normal traffic flow.

Slow traffic. Construction.

Accident. Slippery road due to weather

(snow, ice, rain, etc.).

General problem affecting

traffic flow.

Wind.

Lane closures. Flooding.

Road closed or blocked. Informational only. No nega-

tive affect on traffic flow.

Ramp problems. On- or off-

ramp closures, etc.
