4. Tap on the GPS status option,
The
GPS STATUS window opens.

GPS STATUS finden Sie folgende Informationen:
Feld Meaning
GMT:
Greenwich Mean Time: The time in London.
If you are in a different time zone, then this
time does not correspond to your location.
Longitude:
Latitude:
The coordinates of the current location. The
letters mean the following:
W: Western longitude
E: Eastern longitude
N: Northern latitude
S: Southern latitude
Altitude:
Height above sea level. To calculate the
altitude you must be receiving signals from
at least 4 GPS satellites.
Satellites:
The number of GPS satellites that are
receiving at present. To establish the
current location you must be receiving
signals from at least 3 satellites.
HDOP:
A measure for the quality of the location
detection. The smaller the value, the more
precise the location detection. Values up to
8 are acceptable for navigation.
Direction:
Indicates in which direction you are
currently travelling .
Speed: Shows your current speed.
Current position
Shows your current location. If no address
can be detected, then the geographical
coordinates will be shown.
Saving the current location
The current location can be saved in the FAVOURITES list.
1. Tap on the
Save position button.
The
SAVE DESTINATION AS… dialogue window opens. The
cursor flashes in the
Name field.
2. Enter a name for the destination.
3. Indicate whether you wish you to use the current position as
a home address.
4. Tap on the
Save button.
The destination is now saved in the
FAVOURITES list. The
dialogue window closes.
