2.3 Preparing NAVIGON 7100 | 7110 for use
2.3.1 Charging the rechargeable battery
It is possible that the rechargeable battery is not fully charged when you
remove it from the packaging. We recommend that you fully charge the
battery before using the device for the first time.
► Press the mains socket adapter provided into the designated slot on
the mains adapter until it locks into place.
► Connect the mains adapter to the navigation device and to a mains
socket.
The LED of the NAVIGON 7100 | 7110 lights orange during charging.
The LED lights green when the NAVIGON 7100 | 7110 is fully charged.
Note: It takes approx. 4-5 hours to charge the device when the battery
is flat.
A fully charged battery enables 4 hours of use.
2.3.2 Inserting a memory card
► Insert the memory card provided into the device (see image). Press
the card into the device until it locks into place.
Removing the memory card
1. Switch the navigation device off by pressing the
(On/Off/Standby
) switch for at least 6 seconds.
2. Press the memory card gently into the device until the lock
disengages.
