3.1.4 Safety Information Related to the Risk of Electrocution
• Do not use or store the Smart Pod where there is a risk it can fall into water.
• Do not attempt to use a Smart Pod by submerging in water or any other liquid.
• Never use a Smart Pod that has been damaged by water or suffered water ingress.

3.1.5 Installation safety information
• Check the Smart Pod for any damage before use. If there is any visible damage, a strong
odour, or excessive overheating of components, unplug any connections immediately
and stop using the Smart Pod.
3.1.6 Safety information regarding the use
• Read and follow the instructions regarding the installation and use in the User Manual
provided at https://support.navitas.eu.com before using the Smart Pod.
• Do not drop the Smart Pod or any of its parts.
• Do not attempt to open the device.
3.1.7 Maintenance safety information
• Wipe the Smart Pod on a regular basis, using a damp soft cloth or disposable water-
based wipe. Do not use an alcohol-based or other chemical solution on the Smart Pod.
• Store the Smart Pod away from sources or heat or liquid when not in use.
• Power off the Smart Pod when not in use.
3.1.8 Service and repair safety information
• WARNING! Risk of explosion! Do not attempt to open, modify or repair the product.
Alterations to the product and technical modifications are not permitted.
3.1.9 Safe Disposal
• Follow the instructions in the section "Disposal" in this User Manual for safe disposal of
the Smart Pod.
