NOTE 1: Terminal Keyboard Dialing must be
assigned in system programming data.
NOTE 2: The modems in the modem pool must be
capable of responding to keyboard
command sets such as the Hayes @
Command Set.
0 Depress SPKR key and seize primary
extension.
0 Depress DT key.
DSR signal from DTE comes on.
@ Initiate dialing from the terminal

After DSR signal from modem comes on.
NOTE: After initiating a call via Terminal
Keyboard Dialing, the Multiline
Terminal user will hear carrier tone
from the remote modem via the
multiline terminal speaker. If the on-
site modem does not provide a DSR
signal to the Multiline Terminal, this
tone will not stop automatically. The
user must go on-hook to stop it.
However, if the modem does provide a
DSR signal to the Multiline Terminal,
this tone will stop automatically.
