430.9 Message Waiting
1. ToSet:
l Depress DSS key on the DSS/BLF
console programmed for message
waiting.
l Depress DSS key(s) on the DSS/BLF
console where you want to leave a
message.
l Depress MSG key on the DSS/BLF
console .
SAMPLE LED INDICATIONS

MSG red LED lights.

DSS green LED(s) will light.
red LED goes off.
2. To Cancel:
l Depress MSG key on the DSS/BLF
red LED lights.
console.
l Depress the DSS key(s) on the DSSIBLF

green LED(s) will go off.
l Depress MSG key on the ,DSS/BLF
red LED goes off.

NOTE 1: When an attendant is associated with
two DSS/BLF consoles, both consoles go
into message waiting mode even if only
one of the two consoles is put into the
message waiting mode.
NOTE 2: While in the message waiting mode, if
no DSS key is depressed within ten
seconds,
the DSS/BLF console
automatically returns to DSS mode.
