750.5.2 Warm Start
The Warm Start is performed by turning the power
switch ON. This is the normal method used that
allows retention of the LCR Main Menu program in the
computer. Under normal conditions, the last screen
displayed when power was turned off is returned when
power is turned back on.
750.5.3
Auto Start Setting
The PC-8300 has an auto start feature which allows
the computer to automatically load the LCR Main
Menu program from the disk drive unit when the reset
switch is used. The following procedure describes the
setting of the auto start feature to automatically load
the LCR Main Menu program. See Fitire 700-27 Rear
Side View of the PC-8300.
1. With the PC-8300 main menu displayed, depress
the

loaded. The file name desired is IPL.DO. Since the
file is in the disk, it is necessary to enter 1: prior to
the file name. At this time use the keyboard
