Remove the left
side cover from
the printer.

Connect the
duplex unit cable to the
black connector at the
left rear side of the
printer.

Reattach the left side
cover.

Plug the printer in and
turn it on.

lines, “The
appliance inlet
is considered to
be the main dis-
connect device.”
Select paper with high opacity for duplex printing. Opacity refers to
how effectively paper blocks out what is written on the opposite side
of the page. If the paper has low opacity (high transparency), then the
printed data from one side of the page will show through to the other
side. For best results, print a small quantity to make sure the opacity
is acceptable.
