Lower Feeder Unit (LFU)134

Remove the fuser oil bottle.
Attention
Hold a sheet of paper under
the oil bottle as you remove
it, so no oil drips into the
printer.

Turn the nozzle on the opening on the bottom
clockwise to close it. Place the oil bottle (nozzle
up) in an oil-proof container such as a plastic bag,
until you’re ready to reinstall it.

Use the fuser oil remover syringe that came with
your printer or an eye-dropper to remove any
excess oil from the printer.

Dispose of the oil in accordance with local safety laws and
regulations.

Remove the LFU from the shipping carton, and place it on a table or flat
surface near the printer.

Remove any tape and packing material from the LFU.

suggest that you save the packaging materials in
case you ever need to move or ship the printer.

Position the LFU cable
connector away from the
rear of the LFU.
