Remove the Lower Feeder Unit(s)

Remove the media tray from the
printer, and then rotate the
metal coupler arm toward the
front of the printer.

With the help of another
person, lift the printer by
its carrying grips from
the lower feeder unit,
and place the printer on
a table.
WARNING!
Your printer weighs approximately 101 lbs (46 kg) without
consumables. Be sure to have help when lifting and moving it.

Repack the lower feeder unit in its original shipping carton for storage or
shipment.

If you’re returning the printer for service, you don’t need to return
the lower feeder unit unless instructed to do so.
