Clearing Media Jams

Duplex Unit Jams

Open the duplex unit’s top
cover.

Remove the jammed
media.

Close the duplex unit’s top
cover.

If there still is a jam message,
open the duplex unit’s lower
cover.

Remove the jammed media
by pulling it toward you.

If there still is a jam message,
open the duplex unit’s lower
cover and paper guide. Lift
the inner paper guide.
Attention
Hold the paper guide by its handles to avoid catching your fingers
between it and the cover.
