CLEANING AND WORKING WITH SERVER SWITCH UNIT
Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the server switch unit.
Never attempt to disassemble, repair, or alter the server switch unit on any
occasion other than described in this manual. Failure to follow this instruction
may cause an electric shock or fire as well as malfunctions of the server
switch unit.
Disconnect the power plug before accessing inside the server switch unit.
Make sure to power off the server switch unit and disconnect the power plug
from a power outlet before cleaning. Touching the inside of server switch unit
with its power cord connected to a power source may cause an electric shock
even of the server switch unit is off-powered.
Disconnect the power plug from the outlet occasionally and clean the plug with
a dry cloth. Heat will be generated if condensation is formed on a dusty plug,
which may cause a fire
Make sure to complete installations.
Always install a power cable, interface cable, and/or board firmly. An
incompletely installed component may cause a contact failure, resulting in
smoking or fire.
